Avenir provides extensive training for young freshers as well as professionals. The courses include Communicative English, Soft Skills, Industry Process Orientation covering verticals like Telecommunications, Financial Services, Competitive Examination Readiness covering Group ‘A’, ‘B’, ‘C’ Central services, State services or equivalent positions in the private sector, Technology areas which include Elementary Computer Concepts Programming in C / C++, Java, PHP, Python.

Assessment

Each course program is designed keeping in mind that every person is different and will be at different stage or level in their industry readiness dimension. This is assessed through our assessment cycles & each student will be is assessed periodically as per various parameters and accordingly personalized goals are set for each student, their course content personalized; they are led through regular reviews and workshops which are audio/video aided. Each course sub module is supported by assessments that are parameterized and specially designed targeting industry requirements or more precisely following the interview assessment techniques. The assessment framework allows us to provide regular feedback to the students on their progress and re-prioritize their goals. Assessments are integral part of any course program conducted by Avenir.

Course delivery and quality

Courses are delivered both in online as well as at Avenir premises mode as per client requirement. Courses are customized and tailor-made according to client’s requirements and needs of the target audience. There are Lecture cum discussions, extensive Practical sessions (both Individual as well as Group). Course delivery is done according to Avenir’s TIRAF framework. Avenir puts lots of stress on assessment and for this we have a brilliant Core Assessment team comprised of experienced assessors. Quality is ensured through our well defined and integrated course structure which is being regularly updated and refined for the benefit of the students, Avenir also maintains a low student: teacher ratio (12:1) per class. Avenir does not recommend batch size of more than 20 to maintain the best coordination between the teacher and the students.

Stream 1 : Language Clinics and Study Skills  : Concepts and activities on Verb, Prepositions, Tenses, adjectives, Comparative Forms- Superlative Forms / Connectors / Adverbs/ Articles / Phrasal Verbs / Voice, learning common mistakes in English, vocabulary lessons and collocation.
Stream 2. Reading and Writing : Course for reading, therefore, covers the following subjects like understanding reading types, newspaper reading, reading stories, memos, receipts and comprehensions, varied types of conversations. The course for Writing will cover the following subjects – Writing business documents (letters, memos, report, complaints), writing resume / Articles/writing an Informal Letter, writing paragraphs, writing newspaper articles
Stream 3. Listening and Speaking – The course on Speaking covers English Pronunciations of alphabets, vowels, diphthongs, long vowels, Short vowels, consonants, Hard & Soft sounds, Pronunciation of Silent Letters, Word Differentiation and Accent neutralization. The course on Listening covers improving listening skills through audio tapes, conversation, dialogue and comprehensions
Stream 4. Discussion Skills  Discussion Skills include different forms of conversation patterns like dialogue, expressing opinions, convincing people on some idea, interrogating or interviewing people, reported speech, putting forth or supporting a point of view. The Discussion Skills course will cover improving conversation skills through intensive review, reported speech, Group discussions, Debates and discussions involving explaining, reasoning, agreeing and disagreeing
Stream 5. Interview Skills  – some insights to the students on how to succeed in interview – this includes tips for writing the resume, preparing for the interview with cues on questions, body language, dress, appearing for the interview and finally the interview follow-ups
Stream 6. Nonverbal and Social Cues – Becoming aware of our own and other’s non-verbal behaviour can help improve the quality of any discussion or exchange. The course for nonverbal and social cues covers details about body language and various tips, intercultural etiquettes
Stream 7. Industry Process Orientation :  Possessing knowledge of industry of your work is always an added advantage while seeking for jobs as well as while in job. Learn the key processes, their concepts, products and services,  the regulatory bodies and relevant acts and regulations associated with core Verticals – Financial Services and Telecom
Stream 8. Technology areas which include Elementary Computer Concepts (Basic computer concepts& terminology, Windows, MS Office applications & usage security, Internet, Email.), Desktop User Training

Technical knowledge is the foremost quality that is in need by IT as well as non-IT   organizations looking for potential candidates for technology related work. While some of the technical knowledge is being imparted though college curriculum, a few of the advanced topics of interest of organizations need to be addressed. Also big organizations afford to have three- six months induction programs for the fresh entrants but that is not true for all the organizations.
